About OneBloke

OK, so there’s nowhere to hide with a company name like OneBloke Technology Marketing. There’s also no room for expansion either. You see, OneBloke Technology Marketing is Danny Goodall – an erstwhile software developer and long time high-tech marketing consultant.

The name OneBloke Technology Marketing is a kickback against those one-man-band consultants that refer to themselves as “we” or “us” and say things like, “I’ll check with the team and get back to you“. There usually isn’t a we, an us or a team. And so OneBloke sets out to change that.

Danny Goodall is also a director of Lustratus Research Limited (a company with more than one bloke!) and runs Lustratus REPAMA – the competitive marketing intelligence arm of Lustratus.

Danny Goodall uses these pages to discuss his thoughts on technology marketing and his mission to inspire the next generation of coders; in the same way he was inspired by his teachers to queue up at lunchtime to get 15 minutes on the Commodore Pet. Goodall also has an obsession with natural language processing especially when used to infer marketing meaning behind the language that high-tech vendors use to take their products to market. He also enjoys talking about himself in the third person.
